Horse SPA
The SPA combines safety, quality and ultimate performance. It provides an extremely effective form of cold water application (hydrotherapy) for the treatment and prevention of injuries. The efficacy of hydrotherapy has been confirmed in various studies of animal medicine colleges.
Hydrotherapy can be used mainly for the lower leg of the horse, mainly for the treatment of tendon and joint inflammation. The saline solution of the SPA horse acts like a hypertonic cataplasma and has a natural healing effect on wounds. The airblow (the jacuzzi function) supplies oxygen to the water and thus increases the oxygen content. In the case of fresh wounds, the oxygen return allows for a particularly intensive therapy.
Unlike the Aquatrainer, where the horse moves on a horse-belt, the animal stands in the SPA. A whirlpoole effect results in a gentle and two-dimensional or a more powerful and punctual massage. It is also used in the rehabilitation of fatigue syndromes of tendons and ligaments in sports horses.
